TissueCoat™
ECM Surface Coating

TissueCoat™ is developed to transform the traditional tissue culture plastic into a tissue-specific surface for bidimensional cell culture. When using the TissueCoat™, cells are exposed to the extracellular proteins present in the native tissue of interest, increasing the reliability and significance of the research.

TissueCoat™ is available for the following tissues: Adipose, Bone, Brain, Cartilage, Colon, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Myocardium, Pancreas, Skin, Spleen, Stomach, and Vascular.
Why TissueCoat™ ECM Surface Coating?
TRANSFORMS PLASTIC INTO TISSUE-SPECIFIC MICROENVIRONMENTS

TissueCoat™ contains hundreds of tissue-specific ECM proteins that bind to the surface of conventional cell culture plates and flasks. The presence of these proteins transforms unrepresentative synthetic materials into a tissue-specific microenvironment containing an unique combination of proteins mimetic to that present in the native tissue.

LEADS TO MORE REPRESENTATIVE FINDINGS

The tissue-specific composition of TissueCoat™ increases the representativeness of the findings in each experiment. The particular combination of ECM proteins directs cell behavior towards that found in the native tissue, reducing the drawbacks of bidimensional cell culture.

THE BEST ALTERNATIVE FOR WHO IS NOT YET READY TO WORK WITH 3D CELL CULTURE

Although 3D cell culture is the most representative in vitro platform to mimic the native tissues and organs, not every scientist is ready to move there yet. TissueCoat™ is an alternative to those scientists. While still working with 2D platforms, the use of tissue-specific microenvironments produced by TissueCoat™ leads to more reliable findings.

MatriXpec™

MatriXpec™ hydrogels are developed to offer tissue-specific microenvironments for 3D cell culture. MatriXpec™ hydrogels allow running experiments in truly representative substrates that mimic the biological clues of the native extracellular matrix.
